Hi my name is Steven Swanson.

I’m a huge fan of puzzles, riddles, clues, brainteasers, cryptography, logical deduction and critical thinking.  Although not a fan of traditional sports (at least spectating) I enjoy physical activity and the great outdoors.  Scavenger Hunts, Treasure Hunts, Urban Races and Challenges are at the intersect of those two passions.

ScavengerHuntIdeasList.com is a hub dedicated to compiling tips, tricks, and how-tos for Masterminding your own Hunts as well as finding exciting local Hunts to participate in.

To me, creating a Hunt for a loved one or group of friends or colleagues is like playing Santa Clause.  If done well – with panache and personality – it’s a gift that participants will likely remember their entire life.

My hope is to foster a community of like minds who share little hacks and pointers on creating and finding Hunts everywhere.
